During the late 80's I was dating a young woman who went by the name "Lisa Smith". We had broken up, and she moved back in with her parents, who had recently moved to Las Vegas, NV. After being separated for more than a year, she had contacted me to let me know that she had given birth to my son, which she named "Patrick Michael Smith" and that I would never see him or ever be part of his life, she than disappeared from my life, and I have never heard from her again. Over the years I have tried to research her claim to find out if there was any truth in what she had told me, however with a last name like "Smith", it has been next to impossible to verify whether she was telling me the truth, way to many "Smith's" in America. I have always felt the reason she told me I had a son, was simply to screw with my head, and her having a son was totally  fabricated, and that if she did have a boy child, the chances of it even being mine was extremely slim, for up to this day, I have not yet been able to make children. Despite the astronomical odds of me having a son out there, I had to write this, just in case it might be true, for if it is, my son would be at the right age where he might be curious of who his father might be, as well being able to use the internet to do the research. If I do in fact have a son out there some where's, god willing, I sure hope he is able to find me.
